This project will upgrade the existing railroad crossing on Western Row Rd.
 

This project is a joint venture between the Ohio Rail Development Commission, the City of Mason, and the Indiana & Ohio Railway. The upgrade will include the installation of flashing lights and roadway gates, and the replacement of the existing crossing surface with a new concrete surface (similar to that of Tylersville Rd and US42 crossing), for the benefit of the traveling public. Ohio Rail Development Commission (ORDC) and the I&O Railway are providing funding for the project.

Current Status: The contractor is scheduled to begin the project on November 3rd. During the project, Western Row Rd will be closed at the crossing, and traffic will be detoured along Snider Rd and US42. Learn more about this project by clicking here.
