2026 STREET MAINTENANCE ASPHALT PROGRAM 

The City currently maintains approximately 387 lane miles of roadway throughout Mason. The city aims to repave streets every 15-25 years, dependent upon a variety of factors. These factors include: resurfacing budget, street condition rating, the possibility of repair to extend the life of a street, the amount of traffic on a roadway, etc. A list of roadways/streets included for resurfacing in this year’s program can be found here. Streets on the alternate list are not guaranteed to be paved this year. Streets on this list will be repaved as the contract budget allows.

Current Status: This project has been awarded to John R. Jurgensen Company. The contractor is scheduled to start in the summer.
